The congregation at St Peter’s Free Church, Dundee have been greatly encouraged recently with the addition of several new members and numerous baptisms.
In late September we welcomed nine new members. Three of these joined by transfer, and we are thankful that Ewan, Ling and Paul have chosen to make St Peter’s their new spiritual home.
Chris, Eilidh, Jayne, Logan, Megan and Tyron were all welcomed into membership by profession of their faith. Jayne and Logan were also baptised.
In addition to these adult baptisms, it was a joy to witness the baptisms of not one, but four children the week before. Frederick, Isabella, William and Xander were all brought forward by their parents and welcomed into the covenant community.
More recently, in November, we welcomed Katy into membership by profession of faith. We have been praying for her since she began attending St Peter’s a few years ago with her husband and children. To see God answer these prayers has been a big encouragement to many.
As a congregation we have also experienced really difficult times with the recent passing of two beloved members, Sheila Mackenzie and Hugh Henderson. Yet, God is good and we are thankful to Him for such recent evidence of His continued work amongst us.
Please continue to pray with us that more and more people in Dundee will turn to Christ.
