Children & Young People
Young people are an invaluable part of our church family, and the Free Church of Scotland is blessed with having hundreds of young people within our congregations.
As a Church, we want to provide a welcoming, safe place for young people to learn more about God and His Word, to spend time with older Christians, and to be able to ask questions and think through what they believe for themselves.
Sunday Schools or Kids’ Clubs are one way in which we can help young people to grow, to learn more about the Christian faith, and to have time to discuss and ask questions about God’s Word and its relevance to their lives.
It is crucial to teach our children well, in a way that helps them to understand and allows them to interact, and with materials that are engaging and biblically sound. We have put together a set of resources which are currently being used for children and youth work by various congregations across the denomination (coming soon).
As a denomination, we also provide other opportunities for young people. You can find out more about these below.
