Scotland’s most urgent need in 2026 is for the gospel – a gospel that must be heard, believed and followed across our nation. But for the gospel to be heard, it must be freely offered.
This year’s ETS Annual Conference will focus on The Free Offer of the Gospel – a subject with a significant place in the history of the Scottish Church, and one which remains an urgent priority as we seek to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to the deepest needs of our nation today.
Taking place on Saturday 26 September at St Columba’s Free Church in Edinburgh, the conference will explore both the rich theological history of the free offer of the gospel and its immediate relevance for the life, preaching and mission of the Church today.
The conference is open to everyone – whether you’re a student, minister, church member or simply interested in exploring the subject more deeply. Alongside teaching from four speakers, there will be plenty of time built into the day for fellowship and conversation.
We hope many from across the Free Church and wider Church will take the opportunity to come along, be encouraged and consider together a subject at the very heart of our calling to make Christ known.
