St Columba’s Bids Farewell to Assistant Minister and Family

St Columba’s Free Church in Edinburgh bid farewell to Assistant Minister Rev. Thomas Davis and his family over the weekend as they prepare for their return to the Isle of Lewis.

Thomas has served as Assistant Minister in St Columbas for nearly three years but will return to the pulpit in Carloway Free Church in the Western Isles where he previously served as minister from 2014 to 2018.

Rev. Derek Lamont presents Rev. Thomas Davis and family with a gift expressing the congregations appreciation.

St Columba’s minister Rev. Derek Lamont said, “We’ve been deeply blessed by Thomas’ ministry and the family’s fellowship with us over the past three years.”

“Our love and prayers go with them as they return to Carloway.”

Thomas’ induction will take place on the 25th of June.
