More than 60 delegates from all over Scotland are attending the annual Ministry Training Conference this week at Grace Church Leith in Edinburgh.
The Conference, which runs from Monday until Thursday, is an opportunity for ministers to meet, pray, learn and spend time together.
Keynote speakers include Christopher Ash ‘Learning to lament in hope’, Rev David Macleod ‘Guarding the heart in ministry’, Rev Andy Robertson ‘Illustrations in preaching’ and Paul Rees ‘Patience in local church ministry’.
Carousel sessions cover Discipling Men into Leadership, Releasing Women’s Gifts in the Church and Developing a Mission Culture in your Church.
Preaching Labs are also taking place where ministers are given the opportunity to share feedback on each other’s preaching. Health checks are also being held for ministers to look at all aspects of their health.
Many of the ministers have shared how this week’s conference is a beneficial time to meet together to encourage one another and share their experiences of ministry.
