At last night’s meeting of the Edinburgh and Perth Presbytery, Tom Muir was inducted into the role of Church Planting Director.
We give thanks to God for His provision in this appointment and for Tom’s willingness to serve in this area of gospel ministry. His induction marks an encouraging step forward as we seek to strengthen church planting across the denomination and support the development of new gospel communities in the years ahead.
Speaking on behalf of the Mission Board, the Chairman Alasdair Macleod said: “We are delighted to see Tom take up this role and give thanks for the gifts and experience he brings. We look forward to working together with churches across the denomination, and with partners beyond the Free Church, as we seek to see healthy churches planted and established for the glory of God. We warmly commend Tom to the prayers and support of the wider church family.”
