Act 5, Commission of Assembly October 2024 – Publication of Sensitive Details

1.            The Commission of Assembly took up discussion regarding how sensitive and personal matters are recorded in the Assembly records.

2.            It was moved, seconded and agreed to that:

  1. In the case now before the Commission in the Assembly Clerks’ Report, that the details of Deliverance Section (A), Paragraphs 1-4 which refer to personal and sensitive matters be stored in a record apart.
  2. That the above rule regarding personal and sensitive matters be applied retrospectively to the part of the finding of the 2024 General Assembly regarding to this case on Session Six on Thursday 23rd May 2024, and that the Clerks should make the necessary adjustments to the form of the minutes which is currently on the Church’s website. 
  3. That in all future cases where personal and sensitive information is recorded, such detail should be held in a record apart and the more general information in the ordinary minutes.
