Teens' Conference 2023
Seminar speakers have been announced for the new Teens’ conference taking place in June.
Robbie Sweet will speak about the topic Living for Jesus when I feel alone; Rhiannon MacIntosh will speak about Living for Jesus when I leave school, Carrie Marlow will speak about Living for Jesus when I’m anxious and Anne Macdonald will speak about Living for Jesus in my relationships.
They will be joined by Rev Andy Longwe from London City Presbyterian Church will be speaking about the book of Daniel.
Places are still available for the conference which is taking place from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th June at Lendrick Muir. Anyone S5 or S6 age, as of January 2023, whether already a Christian or just interested to find out more, is very welcome.
‘Living for Jesus in a Hostile Environment’ is the theme of the new teens’ conference. Our hope is that it will be an opportunity for young people to be discipled in their faith and to build friendships with other believers of a similar age. There will be talks, seminars on relevant topics, great food and lots of opportunities to have fun together. Rev Andy Longwe from London City Presbyterian Church will be speaking at the conference.

Rev Andy Longwe, London City Presbyterian Church.
Andy moved to LCPC in early 2022 after six years as minister of Cumbernauld Free Church. Andy was born in Mzuzu, Malawi and grew up in Lanarkshire, Scotland. He studied at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. After completing his studies, he worked for Cornerstone Free Church in Edinburgh whilst doing an MTh. When he has spare time, Andy enjoys reading history, watching football, meeting new people and drinking coffee!
