Congregations and individuals in the Free Church of Scotland are being encouraged to give towards the Ukraine Emergency Appeal through Blythswood Care.
Free Church Moderator, Neil MacMillan, said: “We want to do all we can to help the people in Ukraine and those who are refugees; hundreds of thousands of them across Europe.
“We are partnering with Blythswood Care, so if you want to give financially to help in Ukraine, please send money individually or as a congregation to Blythswood who want to raise £100,000 to help with the refugee crisis.”
He added: “Blythswood have a long track record of working in Eastern and Central Europe and have many trusted partners there who are already working with many refugees in Romania, Moldova and Hungary. So please, give as much as you can, give generously, give now and let’s do all we can to help the people of Ukraine.”
