A team from Operation Mobilisation (OM) visited the Free Church of Scotland offices this week to speak to staff about their ongoing partnership.
OM is an international movement that mobilises people to live and share the Gospel of Jesus. One aspect of OM is the Ship Ministry where volunteers can be part of taking the gospel to the ends of the earth…by ship! Another aspect of OM is a UK-based team that works with churches and communities within the UK.
Members from both teams visited the Free Church offices, alongside Kris Johnstone, Director of Communications for the Ship Ministry. He presented Rev David Meredith, Mission Director for the Free Church of Scotland, with a framed photo of the Doulos Hope ship to say thank you for the continued partnership between the denomination and OM.
Last month, a team from OM visited Carloway on the Isle of Lewis. The recent Hope for the Hebrides mission week followed on from a similar mission to Uist and Benbecula last year.
