Women for Mission’s (WfM) 2018 annual meeting will take place at 2 pm on Saturday 19th May in Glasgow City Free Church.
Through its 2017/18 project, Helping to Help, WfM has been raising funds which will go towards buying land for a church in Nepal, building teachers' accommodation and toilets in Uganda, outreach work in Marseille.
Sarah Cumming of WfM said, "We’re very grateful for the support this project has received and hope many women will join us at our annual meeting to give thanks for the funds raised. We’ll also be launching our new project at the annual meeting and look forward to providing details of that on the day."
"Hearing from our guest speakers is always one of the highlights of the annual meeting and this year promises to be no exception. We’ll hear about Catriona Lamont’s recent trip to Nepal and Fiona Christie will share some of her mission experiences with us.”
"Marsali Campbell will also give an update on her plans and we’ll receive news about some of the work supported by our 'Spread the Word' project two years ago."
For those who gather in Lewis, plans are in place for there to be a live link to the annual meeting.
There will be plenty of time to catch up with friends and the speakers at the end of the meeting so please sign up if you can.
