The Free Church of Scotland is encouraging all of its congregations as well as the wider Christian family to come together in prayer during this year's National Day of Prayer (NDOP) on the 30th November - St Andrew's Day.
Events will be taking place across the country throughout the day. Each congregation is being urged to engage with the recently revived NDOP and participate in praying for their local communities as well as the country as a whole.
Mission Board Chairman Bob Akroyd said, "Prayer is a powerful fundamental in the life of every Christian and we're encouraging the body of Christ to come together on the 30th of November to pray for the nation, that Scotland and her people would return once again to the Lord and become the people of the book once again".
You can find out about events near you through your local congregation or by asking your minister.
