Edinburgh Theological Seminary (ETS) will hold an opening service to mark the beginning of a new academic semester on Monday 3rd September at 7:30 pm in St Columba's Free Church, Edinburgh.
The service will be chaired by the Principal, Rev. Iver Martin, with Dr Alistair Wilson giving the opening address.
Alistair is lecturer in New Testament and Mission at Edinburgh Theological Seminary. He has a key role in helping to coordinate the exciting new developments at the ETS Centre for Mission.
The opening service will also be an opportunity to welcome back returning students as well as introduce new students as they begin their studies.
As well as the full-time academic courses, ETS have seen popularity grow in the Saturday courses they offer. These are designed to allow people with an interest in theology to fit study into their busy schedule.
ETS Principal Iver Martin said, "Once again we look forward to the opening service which marks the beginning of a new academic session at ETS. We look forward to welcoming our new students, as well as those returning to continue their studies.”
Please pray that staff and students would know the directing hand of God as they continue to prepare for a life-long mission of serving the Lord.
All are welcome to attend.
