Reporting to: The Seminary Principal
Located at the heart of Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh Theological Seminary is a provider of theological education to undergraduate and postgraduate degree level. Edinburgh Theological Seminary is seeking to appoint a high-quality academic professional to research in Church History, supervise to MTh and PhD level and teach Church History. We would welcome applications from candidates with the skills appropriate to the delivery of courses in Church History, with a particular Scottish and Presbyterian focus.
The successful applicant will be a competent researcher and teacher with a strong publication trajectory who will contribute to the objectives of the Seminary by engaging in research, supervision and teaching to the highest quality, and publishing in leading international journals.

It is expected that the candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Annual salary of c.£43,000.
