The 37th annual Ayr Bible Convention takes place over the week of 5th September - 8th September in Ayr Free Church.
The cross-denominational event brings together many people from across Ayrshire for a week of Bible teaching and preaching.
Rev. Dan Peters will be in attendance on Tuesday and Wednesday as the convention's keynote speaker. A former Edinburgh Theological Seminary (ETS) student, Rev. Peters is currently the minister at Newcastle Reformed Evangelical Church. This will be his second time preaching at the convention. His talks will concentrate on "The Trials of the Christian Life" and "The Temptations of Christian Life" respectively.
Prof. Donald MacLeod will return to the convention as a keynote speaker on Thursday and Friday. Prof. MacLeod began his ministry in Kilmallie Free Church in 1964 and lectures in Systematic Theology at ETS. His talks will be on "Justification By Fatih" and "Christ: Prophet, Priest and King".
Former speakers have included Rev. Dr Colin Dow and Professor John Angus MacLeod of Edinburgh Theological Seminary.
Refreshments and a bookstall will also be available at the convention venue in Ayr Free Church, with all sessions getting underway at 7.30pm.
