Next week will see the beginning of the 37th annual Ayr Bible Convention which runs from the 5th September - 8th September in Ayr Free Church.
Many people come from across Ayrshire and beyond for a week of Bible teaching and preaching for this cross-denominational event.
There are two keynote speakers at this year's convention, Rev. Dan Peters and Prof. Donald MacLeod.
Rev. Dan Peters is due to speak on Tuesday and Wednesday. A former Edinburgh Theological Seminary (ETS) student, Rev. Peters is currently the minister at Newcastle Reformed Evangelical Church. This will be his second time preaching at the convention. His talks will concentrate on "The Trials of the Christian Life" and "The Temptations of Christian Life" respectively.
Prof. Donald MacLeod will return to the convention as a keynote speaker on Thursday and Friday. Prof. MacLeod began his ministry in Kilmallie Free Church in 1964 and lectures in Systematic Theology at ETS. His talks will be on "Justification By Fatih" and "Christ: Prophet, Priest and King".
Former speakers have included Rev. Dr Colin Dow and Professor John Angus MacLeod of Edinburgh Theological Seminary.
Refreshments and a book stall will also be available at the convention venue in Ayr Free Church, with all sessions getting underway at 7:30 pm.
