In a Big Country

Helping to raise awareness of the validity and value of rural ministry

Did you know that 98% of the land mass of Scotland is classed as rural and 17% of the population live there? We are organising a conference on ministry in this context on Saturday 20th November.

Location: Dingwall Free Church Time: 10am – 4pm

Plenary Speakers

AM Seminars:

  1. Heather Major: Welcome to the future, adapting to our new rurality
  2. Calum Iain MacLeod : The ties that bind: The nature of rural community

PM Seminars:

  1. Catriona Murray: The long story: collective memory in communities
  2. Colin MacLeod Dealing with a Complex History

Each attendee is asked to book one seminar to attend in the morning (AM) and one seminar to attend in the afternoon (PM). Seminar bios can be found when booking.

We hope this will be a great opportunity to learn and meet others who share your ministry context.

Tea & Coffee will be available.

Attendees are asked to arrange their own lunch.

We look forward to seeing you there!
