Students at Edinburgh Theological Seminary have had the opportunity to hear from a variety of ministry opportunities within the Free Church of Scotland. Three groups treated the students to a ‘free’ lunch and then painted a picture of each sphere of service.
Al MacInnes introduced many of them to the Northern Presbytery which reaches from Thurso and Wick in the north to Alness and Tain in the south.
This week they heard from Mission Director, David Meredith, who outlined the challenges of church planting within the denomination.
Today (Wednesday), Thomas Davis gave a unique overview of vacancies in the Western Isles. In a typically engaging manner he tied up each vacancy with a model of car.
