The General Assembly direct that the responsibility for the printing of the Acts of the Assembly be passed to the Assembly Clerks’ Office. They declare that this arrangement supersedes the requirement of The Practice of the Free Church of Scotland, Eighth Edition, Chapter 4, Paragraph 16.5, that this duty be undertaken by a committee appointed annually by the General Assembly. They amend Assembly Standing Orders, Section E, Paragraph 2 as follows: That the Assembly Clerks’ Office shall make arrangements for the printing the Acts of Assembly and that the they shall arrange that the Acts be divided into two classes: Class 1 – Acts which have passed the Barrier Act; Class 2 – Acts which are of General Interest to the Church.
