Free Church Members Raise Money For Ugandan Mission

March 28, 2017
St Peter’s Free Church, Dundee, hosted a coffee morning at the weekend raising nearly £800. The money will help two of its members, Emma Jane Robertson and Ellie Gkika, fly out to Uganda with Mission International in the summer.

Mission International is a Christian charity based in Dundee that aims to help communities around the world through the provision of training, education and sustainable projects.

Emma Jane and Ellie will be involved in local evangelism, medical outreach, schools support and project work based in the town of Lugazi, Uganda.

Mission International Director and St Peter’s Free Church Elder Hugh Henderson said, “We are extremely thankful for the generosity of those who attended the coffee morning over the weekend. Before we leave in July, we also hope to raise £5000 to support a vital water project for the local community through other fund raising events.”
