Bookings are now being taken for a two-day conference on local evangelism held by the Western Isles Presbytery of the Free Church of Scotland.
The conference will take place in the Cabarfeidh Hotel in Stornoway from Friday 2 to Saturday 3 December and is is open to members of all churches and congregations.
The keynote speaker will be Rev David Meredith, Free Church Mission Director, and seminars will also be led by Rev Neil Macmillan of Cornerstone Church in Edinburgh.
The conference will be chaired by Point Free Church minister Rev Dr Iain D Campbell.
Dr Campbell said: “Those who attended the Evangelism Conference in 2015 were treated to a stimulating and thought-provoking ministry focussed on our need to evangelise as well as on the best methodology in evangelism. We are confident of the same this year, and hope that people will take advantage of the opportunity to hear from David Meredith and Neil Macmillan on the principles and practice of taking the gospel out to our communities”.
Places can now be booked online for £20 (including coffee and lunch on the Saturday) with monies being collected at the registration period at the beginning of the conference.

The conference begins at 7.30pm on the Friday with the keynote address from Rev David Meredith on the subject of ‘church revitalisation’.
The following day proceedings continue at 9.15am and there will be talks and seminars on ‘developing the evangelistic mind – personal and corporate’. Following a feedback and conclusion session, the conferences finishes at 4pm.
